Straight answers on money
- What is the difference between Entry and Pro?
- No new number is needed to sign up. Every business — Entry and Pro — starts by messaging the central Patrice number from the phone they already have, and Patrice knows which business a customer is writing to. Pro adds the optional branded-number add-on: you bring your own dedicated phone line (one not already registered on WhatsApp) and Patrice handles the Meta setup on your behalf. Approval is granted by Meta, not Patrice — it usually takes 3–10 business days, and the one-time setup fee is only charged once Meta approves. If Meta declines, you are not charged and nothing in Patrice stops working.
- Why is there a setup fee on Pro?
- Because setting up a branded line is real work: preparing the Meta Business application, display-name submission, connecting the number you supply and registering templates. Patrice does not issue, sell or own numbers — you bring the line and Meta decides. The fee is charged once, only after Meta approves, and it is waived on annual Pro.
- Why is Guyana quoted in GYD?
- Because that is the money you actually earn and bank in. Guyanese businesses are billed in Guyana dollars. The rest of CARICOM and the international market are billed in USD.
- What is the Founding Member rate?
- The first fifty businesses that go live keep their launch rate for as long as they stay subscribed, even after list prices go up. It applies to both Entry and Pro.
- Is there a contract?
- No. Monthly plans cancel any time. Annual plans give you two months free, waive the Pro setup fee, and are refundable in the first 30 days.
- What happens if I go over my message allowance?
- Nothing breaks. Patrice keeps working and you get a notice with the overage rate. You can move up at any point and we prorate it.
- What is not included?
- Payment processing fees if you collect through a card gateway, and any local taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) that apply where you trade.
