Data Processing Terms

Patrice is a product of Alpha Lab Technology. Alpha Lab Technology is a subsidiary of Genesis Global Investment LLC, its parent company. In these documents “we”, “us” and “our” mean Alpha Lab Technology, acting as part of the Genesis Global Investment LLC group.

For that third-party data you are the controller: you decide whose details are recorded and why. We are the processor and act on your instructions, which are given through your use of the product and these documents.

We process this data for as long as your account is active, in order to provide the service: keeping customer and supplier records, producing and sending documents, tracking amounts owed, scheduling, stock and payroll records, and answering your questions about your own data.

Typically: names, phone numbers, email addresses, physical addresses, transaction and balance history, appointment details, and where you use payroll, employment and pay details. The people affected are your customers, leads, suppliers and staff.

We process this data only to deliver the service and as instructed; keep it confidential and limit staff access to those who need it; maintain tenant isolation so no other business can read your records; and help you respond to requests from individuals and to security incidents.

We use sub-processors for messaging (Meta/WhatsApp), cloud database and application hosting, AI processing of messages and documents, and speech-to-text for voice notes. They are bound to equivalent obligations. We will tell you before adding a sub-processor category that materially changes this arrangement.

These providers operate internationally, so data may be processed outside the country where your business is based.

Access requires authentication, records are isolated per business at the database level and enforced by row-level access rules, sensitive credentials are stored encrypted, and traffic is served over encrypted connections. No system is completely secure; we will notify you without undue delay if we become aware of a breach affecting your data.

You must have a lawful basis for putting other people’s data into Patrice, tell them how you use it where required, and avoid uploading sensitive categories of data your business does not need.

On request we will export your data, and on account closure we delete or de-identify it except where retention is legally required.
